Overview

Shobon Action (note: the name can also be romanized as "Syobon Action", and means "Depressed Action") Super Mario Bros 1, gone bad. The game starts as a simple remake of the classic game and quickly diverges into darker territory, where every screen is set up to punish the player. Not content to be merely hard, the game's similarity to Mario serves to turn all your gamer memories against you. Every trick you learned playing Mario will get you killed in Shobon Action.
